‘10 seconds to prove you’re not…’ —y que es esto?
Una chingadera que los racistas de Tumblr estan pasando. Basically, when you reblog the original post (which is a text image that says “10 seconds to prove you’re not Hispanic”) you have to add something you do or don’t do that proves that you’re not Hispanic (or black or asian or any of the other ethnicities these assholes choose.)
For example, some put down “I think Coronas taste gross” and someone put “I don’t eat tortillas at every meal” and now I just basically hate everybody.
More mierda on the dashboard. These people sound like assholes, or as our people proudly say, culeros ;)
The streets of Hollywood are flooding with booze, and right now I will try to consume as much as I can. I wonder where I will awake in the morning…
Last night we arrived at the New Beverly Cinema in West Hollywood for a midnight screening of Stone. We parked in the back, next to this nice-lookin’ car. We went to the box office, bought our tickets, and ran into Quentin Tarantino, which is funny as we bumped into him last week at Amoeba Records.
We returned to my car in the back, ready to pack a bowl and make the night a little ‘sweeter’, when Tarantino comes in from around the corner, getting into his nice car parked right next to us. Gulp.
We should have offered him a hit, no?
The Beach Boys’ Smile is quite possibly the most storied lost album in rock history. The album was stalled in 1967 by sonic mastermind Brian Wilson’s nervous breakdown, and its songs were heavily bootlegged in the ensuing decades. Wilson released a much-loved, reworked solo version in 2004, but all sorts of issues with record labels and band members prevented the official release of the original Smile. But now, Billboard reports that Capitol is finally planning to release The Smile Sessions later this year.
According to Billboard, Mark Linett, who recorded and mixed Wilson’s 2004 Smile, and archivist Alan Boyd are co-producing the release, which will be available as a download, a double-CD set, and a box featuring four CDs, two vinyl LPs, two vinyl singles, and a book by Beach Boys historian Domenic Priore.
