Summerslam 2010 is scheduled to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the second straight year. According to Dave Meltzer, it is possible that WWE will be hosting Summerslam in LA as an annual tradition. Despite the PPV buyrate being disappointing, WWE still saw the event as a huge success due to the media coverage in LA and the company being able to interact and make deals with people in Hollywood.

Y’know, if the WWE just wanted to get in touch with me so bad, they didn’t have to hold the second biggest PPV of the year at the same venue again ;)
if you want to do it in LA and give the big summer PPV the pageantry of Wrestlemania, why not have it in the Coliseum or the Rose Bowl? I miss open air PPVs.
I have very interesting answers for these questions.. especially regarding the WWE and Rose Bowl; or rather the city of Pasadena’s dislike of Vince McMahon.
