This isn’t some punk rock show at a dive club, this is an arena concert. Plus we’re dealing a major drama queen in Morrissey, emphasis on the queen part ;)
I would do the same fucking thing; the wankers.

Downloading this now. The concept sounds interesting.
The daily alternate reality: The Beatles never broke up.
Basically an awesome Girl Talk style mash up of the Beatle’s later year catalog with an intriguingly goofball back story. To quote the site:
“On Sept. 9, 2009 I experienced something that I still am having trouble believing happened to me. I came into the possession of a cassette tape containing a Beatles album that was never released. I dont expect you to believe what happened to me, I sure wouldn’t, but thats why I grabbed the tape as proof that my experience was real.”
You should probably listen to this.
Very good find. Let’s spread this to the world.
Hmmm…. thanks for link/post! Let’s give this a play…
reading yelp.com reviews of local record stores.
Looking back, I wish I didn’t buy so much music at Tower Records, a place I’m happy no longer exists. I’m also happy that there still a lot of great record shops open around here.

The Smiths - This Charming Man 45 rpm single 1983
I remember the day I found this record, being very happy to buy it at such a low price. However, I can’t recall the place I bought it at…
maintaining a music blog that never gets updated has cool advantages. I get lot’s of new music from new bands/artists. Best of all, thye sound great, and are going through the effort of contacting poeple online to listen to them, in addition to touring their asses off. Kudos to these new groups, you are teh future of music.
Now, let’s go to the present, with established artists releasing the new shit… in my opinion, there’s just some I don’t like. I don’t like the new Jay-Z. The new Weezer sounds weaker and lamer then their most recent album. I’m not even going to bother discussing the new Snoop Dogg or U2.
Many successful artists find themselves a comfort zone after making it big with lots of hits. The artists I mentioned above, with the slight exception of Weezer because I honestly believe are batshit crazy, are in that zone. They’re winging it, phoning it in. Meanwhile, they shill products or go on massive stadium tours, and remain successful, critically. Unless you’re Depeche Mode, they… just break my heart.
There is so much good, very good, new, very new music not available at Best Buy or Wal Mart, and that… is such a cool feeling. And you can find it and buy it all online.
P.S. I have been drinking wearing my Clark Kent costume from Friday night…

I want to start a contest here on tumblr which will end with “lunch with Keith Morris” as the grand prize… kinda sad that can actually happen ;)
